Windstar has earned the 5-Star Front Crash Test Rating, the highest awarded by the Government. The quadruple rating means that both the driver and front passengers are awarded 5 stars for front as well as side crash tests. The Windstar tested was equipped with optional side-impact airbags.

Choose the seating arrangement that suits your family’s needs. Available are high- or low-back front buckets, heated buckets, cloth or leather trim, adjustable seat tracks, power seat adjustment, recliners, second-row bucket seats, second- and third-row bench seats with folding seat backs.

Innovations
When you need it, the optional Reverse Sensing System is a feature you’ll be glad you have. It detects certain objects within six feet from the rear and emits a beep. As the vehicle gets closer, the frequency increases. When the object is 10 inches from the vehicle, it becomes a continuous tone.

Convenience
The overhead console is multi-function in the true sense of the word. Among its many features is the conversation mirror that lets you observe what’s going on behind you without turning your head. You’ll love it, but your kids might not. It comes standard in all models except the LX Base.
